sachavonkarl74 I prefer the older albums where the vocals stand out more, but overall the "recording in a 1970 filled-with-smoke studio" vibe is really awesome, the songs are beautifully crafted and produced, and I am becoming a fan of this Austrian Occult Rock stuff. Like a Sacher Torte, can't have it too often, but when you do, it's just org**mic !!! Favorite track: Empress of the Emptiness.

Lute FP I paid €2 to tell the band: You upped the ante on the music- killer production, with just the right amount of rhythmic punch, and guitars reminiscent of classic Mercyful Fate, the gods of classic metal. But… you took your best asset, and buried her vocals behind the music!

Have you ever asked yourself what hell is like when all demons are already dwelling on earth? What appears as good to the eye of the beholder may not be what it seems. The core might differ from its vessel. The evil, repelled and damned to wander in the dark, hold a spark of light within. Both shadow and light wrap their virtues to create the “Wheels of Twilight”.

“Wheels of Twilight” sets its eyes on niches where twilight is nesting and veiling what we comprehend as good or evil. It’s lifting the veil, depriving faces and creatures of their mystique, and setting their true nature free.

DUSK’s first full-length is a path through the depths and pits of human existence, a ride on the horses of the utter end to break the four seals of deliverance.

OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo
